Bayne Teams Up With Wright's to Complete Frac Sand Plant

Bayne Minerals Systems teamed up with Wrights' Production Equipment Specialists to complete a new frac sand plant at Superior Silica Sand's Kosse, TX location. Since the plant was built to help ease the shortage of frac sand in the Texas market, the project was completed under very stringent time constraints.
The plant utilizes Deister vibrating screens to scalp out the raw feed. The various sand fractions are made using McLanahan seperators and hydrosizers. The sized sand is dewatered over McLanahan dewatering screens before being stored in dry plant feed stockpiles. The plant is equipped with Metso slurry pumps.
